Spirits Of The Land is the product of my two month stay on an enchanted island. It was an enchantment of which i had heard of before, but never truly understood until i moved there.

It being my first time living away from Manila, I went through your typical day to day in a new place. Learning the commute around town, finding places to eat, and whatever else one does in a new place.

But between those mundane activities, I felt a strong presence all around me. An ancient, powerful collective spirit that watched me as I walked, spoke to me in my loneliness, and challenged me in many ways.

I will never forget the beauty i had the privilege of seeing out there. And while the cold machinery of the city has built upon it, the spirits of the land haven't lost their voices. They speak so their ancient truth doesn't die out. They speak so our ancient truth can become known to us again.

This record is for you, dear island. From the heart of a humble guest that got to hear at least a little of that ancient truth. +++
